The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 (It is ordained that) no village We have destroyed shall return 95 until Gog and Magog are let loose, and begin swooping from every mound, 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 Verily you and those you worship other than God will be faggots for Hell; and come to it you will. 98 If these had been gods they would not have come thither, but all will abide therein. 99 For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear. 100 Verily those for whom the good reward hath preceded from Us, they therefrom shall be kept far away. 101 And they will not hear its faintest sound; and they will forever abide in whatever their hearts desire. 102 The great fearful event shall not grieve them, and the angels shall meet them: This is your day which you were promised. 103 The Day whereon We shall roll up the heaven like as the rolling up of a scroll for books. Even as We began the first creation, We shall restore it: a promise binding upon Us; verily We have been the Doers. 104 We have written in the psalms which We had revealed after the Torah that the earth will be given to Our righteous servants as their inheritance. 105 Verily there is a message in this for people who are devout. 106 We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples. 107 Say thou: this only hath been revealed unto me, that your god is only One God. submit ye then?! 108 But if they (disbelievers, idolaters, Jews, Christians, polytheists, etc.) turn away (from Islamic Monotheism) say (to them O Muhammad SAW): "I give you a notice (of war as) to be known to us all alike. And I know not whether that which you are promised (i.e. the torment or the Day of Resurrection) is near or far." 109 Surely He knows what is spoken openly and He knows what you hide; 110 And know not; haply it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a season. 111 He (Muhammad SAW) said:"My Lord! Judge You in truth! Our Lord is the Most Beneficent, Whose Help is to be sought against that which you attribute (unto Allah that He has offspring, and unto Muhammad SAW that he is a sorcerer, and unto the Quran that it is poetry, etc.)!" 112
