And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Indeed your Lord only will raise them all on the Day of Resurrection; indeed only He is Wise, All Knowing. 25
