Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
He who does good works while he is a believer, shall not see his efforts disregarded: We record them all. 94 Hence, it has been unfailingly true of any community whom We have ever destroyed that they [were people who] would never turn back [from their sinful ways] 95 Until, when Gog and Magog are let loose, and they hasten out of every mound, 96 Then will the true promise draw nigh (of fulfilment): then behold! the eyes of the Unbelievers will fixedly stare in horror: "Ah! Woe to us! we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we truly did wrong!" 97 Surely you and what you worship besides Allah are the firewood of hell; to it you shall come. 98 If those had been gods, they would never have gone down to it; yet every one of them shall therein abide forever;' 99 For them therein shall be groaning and therein they shall not hear. 100 Lo! those unto whom kindness hath gone forth before from Us, they will be far removed from thence. 101 They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally. 102 The greatest fear will not aggrieve them, and the angels will welcome them; saying “This is your day, which you were promised.” 103 The Day whereon We shall roll up the heaven like as the rolling up of a scroll for books. Even as We began the first creation, We shall restore it: a promise binding upon Us; verily We have been the Doers. 104 And certainly We wrote in the Book after the reminder that (as for) the land, My righteous servants shall inherit it. 105 Herein, surely, is a message for those devoted to worship. 106 (Muhammad), We have sent you for no other reason but to be a mercy for mankind. 107 Say, "It is revealed to me that there is only one Lord. Will you then submit yourselves to His will?" 108 But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to [all of] you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised. 109 Surely He knows what is spoken aloud and He knows what you hide. 110 "I know not but that it may be a trial for you, and a grant of (worldly) livelihood (to you) for a time." 111 He said: 'My Lord, judge Thou with truth! And our Lord is the All-merciful; His succour is ever to be sought against that you describe.' 112

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
