Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
Then whosoever does righteous works, while believing, his striving will not go unappreciated. We record them all for him. 94 And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return 95 Until when the way is opened up for Gog and Magog and they press from every elevated place, 96 And [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers." 97 Verily you and those you worship other than God will be faggots for Hell; and come to it you will. 98 if those had really been deities, they would not have been led there; but there they will remain forever. 99 There will only be groaning for them, and they will not hear any thing. 100 Indeed those to whom Our promise of goodness has been made, have been kept far away from hell. 101 They will not even hear the slightest sound from it while enjoying the best that they can wish for in their everlasting life. 102 They will have safety from the mighty terror, and angels will receive them, (saying:) "This is your day which had been promised you." 103 (This will happen) on the day when We roll up the heavens as if it were a written scroll and bring it back into existence just as though We had created it for the first time. This is what We have promised and We have always been true to Our promise. 104 We have written in the psalms which We had revealed after the Torah that the earth will be given to Our righteous servants as their inheritance. 105 Lo! there is a plain statement for folk who are devout. 106 We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures. 107 Say: It is only revealed to me that your Allah is one Allah; will you then submit? 108 If they turn away, tell them, "I have warned every one of you equally. I do not know when the torment which you have to suffer will take place. 109 God knows well all that is spoken aloud and all that you hide. 110 And I do not know if this may be a trial for you and a provision till a time. 111 He said: O my Lord! judge Thou with truth; and our Lord is the Beneficent Allah, Whose help is sought against what you ascribe (to Him). 112
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
