Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 And it is binding on a town which We destroy that they shall not return. 95 Till the time when Yajuj and Majuj are released, and they will be flowing down from every height. 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 [Then they will be told:] "Verily, you and all that you [were wont to] worship instead of God are but the fuel of hell: that is what you are destined for. 98 If those had been gods, they would never have gone down to it, but in it they shall live for ever. 99 They shall groan. They will not hear therein anything else. 100 But those for whom a good reward had been fore-ordained by Us, will be far removed from it, 101 no sound thereof will they hear; and they will abide in all that their souls have ever desired. 102 The greatest terror shall not grieve them, and the angels will receive them: 'This is the Day you have been promised' 103 The Day whereon We shall roll up the heaven like as the rolling up of a scroll for books. Even as We began the first creation, We shall restore it: a promise binding upon Us; verily We have been the Doers. 104 We have already written in the Psalms following the Reminder, "My righteous servants shall inherit the earth." 105 Most surely in this is a message to a people who serve 106 We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples. 107 Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?" 108 But if they turn away, say: "I have proclaimed this in equity unto all of you alike; but I do not know whether that [judgment] which you are promised [by God] is near or far [in time]. 109 “Indeed Allah knows whatever is said, and knows all what you conceal.” 110 And I know not, perhaps it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a while. 111 Say, "My Lord, judge with truth. Our Lord is the Gracious One whose help we seek against what you utter." 112
