The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Prosperous are the believers, 1 who in their prayers are humble 2 who turn away from idle talk; 3 who observe Zakah; 4 Who guard their sex 5 except with their wives and what their right hand possess, and then they are not blamed. 6 And whosoever seeketh beyond that, then it is these who are the transgressors 7 and who are faithful to their trusts and to their pledges, 8 and those who attend to their prayers; 9 these are the heirs 10 Those who will get the inheritance of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. 11 We created man out of the extract of clay, 12 Then We placed him as a sperm in a firmly established lodging; 13 Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators. 14 Then lo! after that ye surely die. 15 Then lo! on the Day of Resurrection ye are raised (again). 16 And We have created above you seven paths, and We are never unmindful of creation. 17 And We sent down from the sky water (rain) in (due) measure, and We gave it lodging in the earth, and verily, We are Able to take it away. 18 With it, We produced for you gardens of palms and vines, yielding abundant fruit for you to eat. 19 And a tree (olive) that springs forth from Mount Sinai, that grows oil, and (it is a) relish for the eaters. 20 In the cattle, too, is a lesson for you. We let you drink of that which is in their bellies, and there are many benefits in them for you, and you eat of them, 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
