The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The believers must (eventually) win through,- 1 Those who humbly cry in their prayers. 2 And who do not incline towards indecent matters. 3 pay their religious tax 4 and who are mindful of their chastity, 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 And whosoever seeketh beyond that, then it is these who are the transgressors 7 and who are faithful to their trusts and to their pledges, 8 and those who attend to their prayers; 9 These are indeed the inheritors. 10 Who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (for ever). 11 Indeed We created man from a chosen soil. 12 Then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed; 13 Then We created of the drop, a clot (of congealed blood) and We created the clot into bitesize tissue, then We created the bitesize tissue into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it an other creation. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Then verily, thereafter, ye are sure to die. 15 Then you will be raised up again on the Resurrection Day. 16 And assuredly We created above you seven paths, and of the creation We have not been neglectful. 17 We sent down water from the sky in due measure, and lodged it in the earth, and We are able to take it all away. 18 Then We produce for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you and whereof ye eat; 19 And a tree that grows out of Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat. 20 You have a lesson in livestock. We provide you with drink from what is in their bellies, and you have many other benefits from them; some of them you eat, 21 And on them and on the ships you are borne. 22
