1/4 Hizb 35

And the chiefs of his people, who disbelieved and denied the Meeting in the Hereafter, and to whom We had given the luxuries and comforts of this life, said: "He is no more than a human being like you, he eats of that which you eat, and drinks of what you drink. 33 and, indeed, if you pay heed to a mortal like yourselves, you will surely be the losers! 34 Does he promise you that, after you have died and become [mere] dust and bones, you shall be brought forth [to a new life]? 35 ۞ What you are promised is indeed far-fetched. 36 There is only the life of this world: We die and we live: there is no rising from the dead for us. 37 He is naught but a man who has forged against God a lie, and we will not believe him.' 38 The Messenger prayed, "Lord, help me; they have called me a liar". 39 (Allah) said: "In but a little while, they are sure to be sorry!" 40 Then the Blast overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of Time)! So away with the people who do wrong! 41 Then after them, We created other generations. 42 no nation outstrips its term, nor do they put it back. 43 Then We sent our messengers one after another. Whenever its messenger came unto a nation they denied him; so We caused them to follow one another (to disaster) and We made them bywords. A far removal for folk who believe not! 44 AND THEN We sent forth Moses and his brother Aaron with Our messages and a manifest authority [from Us] 45 To Firon and his chiefs, but they behaved haughtily and they were an insolent people. 46 They therefore said, “Shall we believe in two humans like ourselves, whereas their nation is servile to us?” 47 So they rejected them and became of those who were destroyed. 48 And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture that perhaps they would be guided. 49 And We made the son of Maryam (Mary) and his mother as a sign, And We gave them refuge on high ground, a place of rest, security and flowing streams. 50

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
