O apostles! eat of the good things and do good; surely I know what you do. 51 Surely this community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so fear Me.' 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 Therefore leave them in their overwhelming ignorance till 54 Do they think that because We have granted them abundance of wealth and sons, 55 Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive. 56 Surely those who stand in awe for fear of their Lord, 57 And those who in the signs of their Lord do believe. 58 Who do not associate any one with their Lord, 59 And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - 60 These are hastening on to good, and they are therein foremost. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 But their hearts are heedless of this. Moreover, there are other deeds besides this which they do. 63 Until when We lay hold of the luxuriant ones of them with the torment, and lo! then they are imploring! 64 Do not cry out today. Indeed, by Us you will not be helped. 65 My signs were recited to you, but upon your heels you withdrew, 66 Stiff-necked, discoursing thereof by night, reviling. 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or do they not recognise their Messenger, that they deny him? 69 Or do they say: "There is madness in him"? Nay, he has brought them the truth - and the truth do most of them detest! 70 And had the Truth followed their desires, then indeed the heavens and the earth and all those who are in them would be destroyed; in fact We brought to them a thing in which lay their repute, so they are turned away from their own repute. 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 And indeed you call them to the Straight Path. 73 And most surely those who do not believe in the hereafter are deviating from the way. 74 ۞ And though We have mercy on them We may remove whatsoever of hurt is with them, surely they would persist in their exorbitance, wandering perplexed. 75 And indeed, We tested them through suffering, but they did not abase themselves before their Sustainer; and they will never humble themselves 76 Until when We open upon them a door of severe chastisement, lo! they are in despair at it. 77
