O Ye apostles! eat the good things and work righteously; verily of that which ye work I am the Knower. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 Then they cut their affair among them in regard to the Scriptures; each band in that which is with them rejoicing. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 What, do they think that We succour them with of wealth and children, 55 We hasten in good works for them? No, they are not aware. 56 Those who tremble with fear of their Lord; 57 And those who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 and those who associate naught with their Lord 59 Who give whatsoever they give (in His way), and their hearts tremble with fear that they have to go back to their Lord, 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works, and it is they who outrun [all others] in attaining to them! 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Nay, their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this; and their deeds too vary from the way (mentioned above). They will persist in these deeds 63 But then when We seize the affluent among them, they will cry out for help. 64 Do not cry out today. Indeed, by Us you will not be helped. 65 Indeed My Verses used to be recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels (denying them, and with hatred to listen to them). 66 being proud against it, talking foolishness by night. 67 Have they not pondered over the Word (of Allah, i.e. what is sent down to the Prophet SAW), or has there come to them what had not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or did they not recognise their Messenger and so denied him? 69 or you said that he is possessed by satan? In fact, he has brought you the truth, but most of you dislike it. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Or, do you ask a tribute from them? Your Lord's tribute is better. He is the Best of providers. 72 And indeed you call them to the Straight Path. 73 And indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviated from the Straight Path. 74 ۞ And though We have mercy on them We may remove whatsoever of hurt is with them, surely they would persist in their exorbitance, wandering perplexed. 75 And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat. 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of severe punishment, then lo! They will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair. 77
