O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 And verily this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 So leave them in their confusion for a time. 54 Do they think that We enlarge them in wealth and children, 55 We are hastening to reward them for good deeds? No. They do not comprehend. 56 Surely those who tremble in fear of their Lord 57 And those who in the signs of their Lord do believe. 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 Who give whatsoever they give (in His way), and their hearts tremble with fear that they have to go back to their Lord, 60 Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others. 61 And We do not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent of its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. 62 Nay, their hearts are in overwhelming ignorance with respect to it and they have besides this other deeds which they do. 63 Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication! 64 (It will be said): "Groan not in supplication this day: for ye shall certainly not be helped by Us. 65 Our revelations had certainly been recited to you, but you turned your backs to them 66 "In arrogance: talking nonsense about the (Qur'an), like one telling fables by night." 67 Have they not pondered over the Word (of Allah, i.e. what is sent down to the Prophet SAW), or has there come to them what had not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or, is it because they do not recognize their Messenger that they denied him? 69 Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 Or are you asking them for any reward? But the reward of your Lord is the best, for He is the Best of Providers, 72 And verily, thou callest them onto a straight way 73 But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ Did We have mercy on them, and remove the affliction that is upon them, they would persist in their insolence wandering blindly. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 until We open before them a gate of [truly] severe suffering [in the life to come]: and then, lo! they will be broken in spirit. 77
