And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 It is God who has settled you on the earth and before Him you will all be assembled. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say, "To Allah." Say, "Then will you not remember?" 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145] 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
