It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 And He it is Who giveth life and causeth death, and His is the difference of night and day. Have ye then no sense? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say: 'Whose is the earth, and whoso is in it, if you have knowledge?' 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken to Himself any son, there is no other god with Him. Were this otherwise each god would have taken that which he created, and some of them would have risen above others; Exalted is Allah beyond that they describe! 91 He knows both what is visible and what is not visible. Exalted is Allah above all that they associate with Him. 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
