It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will say: 'To Allah' Say: 'Then will you not remember' 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 In fact We brought the Truth to them, and indeed they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
