Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 “Therefore my Lord, do not group me with the unjust.” 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
