Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
