Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 and all that you do not see, 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We know that there are some among you who will belie. 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
