Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you took them for laughingstock, mocking at them, until they caused you to forget My remembrance. 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
