Have you not seen that your Lord increases the shadow. Had He wanted He would have made it stationary], and has made the sun their guide. 45 thereafter We seize it to Ourselves, drawing it gently. 46 It is He who has appointed the night a mantle for you and sleep for a rest. The day He has appointed for rising. 47 And it is He Who sent the winds giving glad tidings before His mercy; and We sent down purifying water from the sky. 48 In order that We may revive a dead city with it, and give it to the many beasts and men that We have created, to drink. 49 And We distribute it among them in various ways that they may ponder and reflect; yet most men disdain everything but denial and thanklessness. 50 And if We had willed, We would have raised up in each town a warner. 51 So obey not the unbelievers, but struggle with them thereby mightily. 52 ۞ And it is He, Who has let loose the two seas, one palatable and sweet, the other bitter and saltish, and there is a partition between them, which is an insurmountable barrier. 53 And it is He, Who created man from water: then from him He caused two kinds of kindred, by blood and by marriage: your Lord is AI I-Powerful. 54 They worship besides God things that can neither benefit nor harm them. The unbelievers are defiant against their Lord. 55 And We have not sent you but as a giver of good news and as a warner. 56 Say: I do not ask you aught in return except that he who will, may take the way to his Lord. 57 And put your trust (O Muhammad SAW) in the Ever Living One Who dies not, and glorify His Praises, and Sufficient is He as the All-Knower of the sins of His slaves; 58 He Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between, in six days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): Allah Most Gracious: ask thou, then, about Him of any acquainted (with such things). 59 When you say to them: "Bow before Ar-Rahman," they say: "What is Ar-Rahman? Should we adore whoever you ask us to?" And their aversion increases further. ۩ 60
