Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. 62 For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace; 63 They are those who spend the night worshipping their Lord, prostrating, and standing, 64 And who submit, “Our Lord – avert the punishment of hell from us; indeed its punishment is a permanent neck-shackle.” 65 It is indeed an evil halt and an evil abode;" 66 And those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two. 67 who call not upon another god with God, nor slay the soul God has forbidden except by right, neither fornicate, for whosoever does that shall meet the price 68 The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; 69 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right, for whom God will turn evil into goodness, for God is forgiving and kind. 70 and seeing that he who repents and [thenceforth] does what is right has truly turned unto God by [this very act of] repentance. 71 And those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour. 72 and who when they are reminded of the verses of their Lord, they do not fall down deaf and blind. 73 And those who say: "O Lord, give us comfort in our spouses and children, and make us paragons of those who follow the straight path." 74 Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace and respect. 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): My Lord would not concern Himself with you but for your prayer. But now ye have denied (the Truth), therefor there will be judgment. 77
