The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
