The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And indeed your Lord indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
