And recall what time thy Lord called unto Musa, saying: go thou unto the wrong-doing people. 10 the people of Pharaoh; will they not be godfearing?' 11 He said: O my Lord! surely I fear that they will reject me; 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 God said, "Indeed not; go both of you with Our signs, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]. 15 “Therefore approach Firaun then proclaim, ‘We both are Noble Messengers of the Lord Of The Creation.’ 16 ‘That you let the Descendants of Israel go with us.’” 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 And you did (that) deed of yours which you did, and you are one of the ungrateful. 19 Said Moosa, “I did that at a time when I was unaware of the consequences.” (In anger – See verse 28:15) 20 So I ran away from you out of fear. But my Lord has given me wisdom, and made me an apostle. 21 And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Fir'awn said: and what is the Lord of the worlds? 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Did ye not listen (to what he says)?" 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 Moses said, "He is the Lord of the East and the West, and all that lies between them, if only you could understand." 28 Said [Pharaoh]: "Indeed, if thou choose to worship any deity other than me, I shall most certainly throw thee into prison! 29 Said Moosa, “Even if I bring to you something clear?” 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 So he cast his staff, and behold, it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand and lo! it was white to the beholders. 33
