۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
