۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 But We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
