۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
