۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
