۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
