۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
