۞ And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
