۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
