The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
