The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
