The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
