The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
