The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
