The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
