Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning unto humankind 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 who in their gardens will be enquiring 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
