Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
