The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
