The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 I am for you an honest Messenger. 178 Have fear of God and obey me. 179 I ask of you no recompense for this; my reward is only with the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ “Measure in full, and do not be of those who reduce.” 181 "And weigh with the true and straight balance. 182 and do not deprive people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not act wickedly on earth by spreading corruption, 183 And keep your duty unto Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old. 184 They said: "You are only one of those bewitched! 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 He. said: My Lord is the Best Knower of that which ye work. 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 190 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 191
