The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 178 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 179 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 and diminish not the goods of the people, and do not mischief in the earth, working corruption. 183 Have fear of the One who has created you and the generations that lived before you." 184 They said, “You are under a magic spell.” 185 "Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar! 186 Therefore cause a portion of the heaven to come down upon us, if you are one of the truthful. 187 He said: 'My Lord knows what you are doing' 188 But they cried him lies; then there seized them the chastisement of the Day of Shadow; assuredly it was the chastisement of a dreadful day. 189 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 190 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 191

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
