And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 to your heart that you might become one of those who warn (others on behalf of Allah), 194 In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. 195 And most surely the same is in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 Had We revealed it to a non-Arab 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, 202 They will say, "Can we be granted any respite?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our torment? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised! 206 what will it then avail them, the enjoyment of days they were given? 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 The devils did not bring it down: 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day]. 213 And warn, [O Muhammad], your closest kindred. 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey you say to them: "I am quit of what you do." 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 Surely, He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Should I tell you on whom the devils descend? 221 They descend upon all sinful self-deceivers 222 The devils convey upon them what they heard, but most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets [they, too, are prone to deceive themselves: and so, only] those who are lost in grievous error would follow them. 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 And that they say what they do not do. 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.
