And most surely this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 192 trustworthy divine inspiration has alighted with it from on high 193 into your heart, so that you may be a warner, 194 in clear Arabic speech. 195 This is (indicated) in the Books of earlier people. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed. 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it to the extent that they see the painful punishment. 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 They will therefore say, “Will we get some respite?” 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years, 205 And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised! 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). 211 Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it. 212 So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. 213 And warn [whomever thou canst reach, beginning with] thy kinsfolk, 214 And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers. 215 If they disobey you, say, "I bear no responsibility for what you do." 216 And rely on the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 who can see whether you stand up 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 He is All-hearing and All-knowing." 220 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 They give ear, but most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets - it is the seduced who follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley? 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged. Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned! 227
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
