Alshu'araa' 11 of 11
This surely is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe: 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 to your heart, so that you will warn (the people of the dangers of disobeying God). 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 And indeed, it is [mentioned] in the scriptures of former peoples. 196 And was this not a sign for them, that the scholars of the Descendants of Israel may recognise this Prophet? 197 And had We sent it down upon a person other than an Arab, 198 And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. 199 Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: 200 They will not believe therein until they behold the torment afflictive. 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 So for Our punishment are they impatient? 204 Therefore observe, that if We give them some comforts for some years, – 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 What shall that which they enjoyed avail them? 207 And We destroyed not a city but it had its warners. 208 for a reminder, and We never harmed. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 So do not call on any deity besides God, lest you incur His punishment. 213 And warn thou thy clan, the nearest ones. 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do. 216 And put thy trust in the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom do the devils descend? 221 They descend on every lying sinner, 222 They give ear, but most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Have you not seen how they wander in every valley, 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! 227
True are the words of God the Almighty.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
