And so, they who are bent on denying the truth are saying: "What! After we have become dust - we and our forefathers - shall we [all,] forsooth, be brought forth [from the dead]? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Indeed this Qur’an narrates to the Descendants of Israel most of the matters in which they differ. 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82
