The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 so put your trust in God. Surely you are on the path of manifest truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
