The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
