The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We were promised this before, and so were our fathers. It is but the fictitious story of the ancients' 68 Say: 'Journey in the land and see what was the end of the sinners' 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say, "It may be that a part of what you would hasten on is close behind you." 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82
