One day We shall gather together from every people a troop of those who reject our Signs, and they shall be kept in ranks,- 83 When they have come, He will say: 'Did you belie My verses, although you knew nothing, or what was it you were doing' 84 And the word [of truth] will stand revealed against them in the face of all the wrong which they had committed, and they will not [be able to] utter a single word [of excuse]: 85 for, were they not aware that it is We who had made the night for them, so that they might rest therein, and the day, to make [them] see? In this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who will believe! 86 On the Day when the trumpet is blown, whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be struck with terror, except for those whom God wishes to spare. All shall come to Him in utter humility. 87 And you see the mountains, you think them to be solid, and they shall pass away as the passing away of the cloud-- the handiwork of Allah Who has made every thing thoroughly; surely He is Aware of what you do. 88 Whoever comes with good (deeds) will receive better than (what he had done), and be safe that day from terror. 89 Those who commit evil will be thrown headlong into hell fire. (It will be said to them) can you expect any recompense other than what you deserve for your deeds? 90 I am commanded only to worship the Lord of this city which He hath sanctified, and His is every thing - and I am commanded to be of the Muslims; 91 And to recite the Qur'an." And whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] himself; and whoever strays - say, "I am only [one] of the warners." 92 And say: "All praise is due to God! In time He will make you see [the truth of] His messages, and then you shall know them [for what they are]." And thy Sustainer is not unmindful of whatever you all may do. 93
